2017: Towards a global culture of diversity and balanced leadership

Everyone from the EVE webmagazine team wishes you a wonderful 2017.

This new year brings new developments in your online magazine that tackles equality, diversity, and balanced leadership, and we’re setting our course straight for internationalization.

leitmotiv

From its early days, the EVE Programme was designed as a global movement, focused on the universal motto “Dare to be yourself to take action”, and it hosts participants in Evian from almost 40 different countries. In 2013, and with backing from Danone and L’Oréal, an Asia-Pacific seminar was launched in Shanghai, to address the specific challenges encountered in a geographical area that is strategic for transforming both the economy and businesses.   Spurred on by the same knowledge that it needs to act where the most dynamic changes are taking place, EVE is spreading to the American and African continents in 2017-2018.

The webmagazine is the voice for this movement. So it now offers mostly international content:

internationalisation

  • Input by experts from all around the world, opinion leaders in their region or globally, on the issues of equality, diversity, empowerment and leadership,
  • Important bilingual interviews (in French and English), with leaders and senior managers from the various branches of the Program’s partner companies,
  • Bilingual grassroots reports to take a more detailed look at the key concepts and ideas for reflection and discussions on diversity and leadership,

social-media

In addition to the webmagazine, EVE is investing more than ever in social networks. You can keep up to date on its latest news on Facebook, LinkedIn and Instagram, find all its videos on YouTube and feedback from all its important events on Storify. On top of that, it is now possible to join international chat sessions on Twitter: leading experts from many different areas of the world talking to each other and with you about the key issues of diversity and leadership. This tool was tested in late 2016 on the themes of the glass ceiling, and mentoring, and was hugely successful, so will be a monthly feature this year.

The EVE newsletter is also getting a new look. Its more modern design and more interactive modules will improve the look and feel of the most important articles in the webmagazine. Watch out for it over the coming days in your inbox.

Stay connected to the media and EVE networks so that together, we can make ideal diversity a reality, in line with the planet’s greatest challenges.
