Chékéba Hachemi
Advisor to large companies and founding chairman of the “Afghanistan Libre” Association
Of Franco-Afghan origin, Chékéba Hachemi was Afghanistan’s first woman diplomat to the European Union. In 2005, she became Advisor to the first Vice-President, responsible for major projects of national priority in Kabul, and then Minister-Advisor. In 2009, she resigned because of corruption in the government. Today she heads up CH Consulting which specialises in the study and design of society-based projects around the role of women in companies and helps major European groups with their philanthropic and CSR approaches, including ENGIE, L’Oréal, ELLE, NRJ group, Chérie 25 TV channel, Groupe SOS, FACE, Fondation A… She also created the “Guide des Expertes” for better visibility for women in the media. She has written 3 best sellers: “Visage volé”, “Pour l’Amour de Massoud” and “l’Insolente de Kaboul”.
