Nigyar Makhmudova is Chief Growth Officer at Danone, and Danone Comex member. She is a real citizen of the world as she is born in Azerbaijan, holds a business degree from Nottingham Business School, UK and studied Molecular Biology in Moscow State university, Russia.

Then she started a career in pharmaceutical marketing for Boots and Smith Kline Beecham, then joined Mars Russia, then took various and wider responsibilities as Global Chief Marketing Officer of Mars Petcare, in Belgium. She became Regional President for Mars Petcare Europe, Russia, and South Africa, before being appointed Global President of Mars Pet Nutrition, London based.

She joined Danone in 2019 as Executive VP, Growth and Innovation.
