Becoming aware of your BE-ING in leadership: the BEL model

Leaders should be possibility creators. But sometimes they limit theirs and their followers’ possibilities because of the rigidity of their coherency. Rachel proposes a plenary that will illustrate how our perceptions and attitudes toward life reside in the coherency of our Bodies, our Emotions and our Language (the BEL model). In ontological coaching we call these three elements our ‘observer.’ To be consciously aware of the coherency of our observer is to be aware of how we shrink or expand our own possibilities in our experiences as leaders, parents, lovers, siblings, employees and other facets of our lives.
